Khanom is a tourist beach town located 20 minutes by car from the villa. With beach side restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets, and a 10 kilometre mostly undeveloped beach that backs a national park, it makes for an easy and satisfying day of exploring. Stop at the caves along the drive or families will enjoy the local sheep farm 5 kilometres from the villa which also boasts an inflatable water park and a beautiful river on the grounds of an eco tourism recreation area, which is safe for swimming.
Ko Pha Ngan is renowned for its monthly Full Moon Party. This boisterous night-long celebration, which is tied to the lunar calendar, draws revelers to its southeastern peninsula, on Haad Rin Beach. Easliy accessable from the villa by car ferry (2.5 hours) or high speed catamaran (1 hour). The car ferry piers of Seatran and Raja are only 2 kilometres from Spirit House. Lompraya, the high speed catamaran, operates from Laem Toad pier, 8 kilometres from the villa.
